Southern Nye County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Inc.

Our Mission:

Southern Nye County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Inc. {SNCARES} is a dual service organization which operates under both the ARES^® and the RACES service organizations.

As the Amateur Radio Emergency Service^® organization in Southern Nye County we support the local area with two-way radio communications in emergencies and Public Service events as the need may arise. As the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service organization we support the Nye County Emergency Management Service and the Nye County Sheriff with supplemental communications during any emergency situation that they may require our additional assistance.

SNCARES is an all volunteer amateur radio organization, as a Not-for-Profit IRS 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing emergency and public service communications to our community.

SNCARES was Incorporated in the State of Nevada under the NRS 82 statutes on 31 January 2002.

SNCARES received our ARRL Club Charter Affiliation 25 July 2005.
